Welcome to Palm Nursery and Junior Academy

Welcome to Palm Nursery and Junior Academy, a nurturing and supportive preschool located in Lower Kauga, Mukono along Kampala-Jinja Highway in Uganda. Established in 2014, our school has grown to offer classes from baby to P.3, as well as a playgroup for infants aged one to two years. Our dedicated team ensures a warm and stimulating environment for your child's early learning journey.

At Palm Nursery and Junior Academy, safety is our top priority. We provide a secure and supervised environment where your child can learn and grow. Our facilities and activities are designed to promote safety and well-being, giving you peace of mind.

Arrival and Departure

At Palm School, we prioritize a smooth and stress-free transition for both learners and parents.

Drop-off: Learners can arrive at school starting from 7:00 AM, giving them time to settle in before the day’s activities begin.
Pick-up: Dismissal starts at 3:00 PM, and we encourage parents/guardians to pick up their learners on time to ensure a safe and organized end to the day.

We understand the importance of a seamless routine, and our dedicated staff is always present to assist during drop-off and pick-up, creating a welcoming and secure environment for every learner.

Uniform Guidelines

At Palm School, we maintain a smart and comfortable dress code for our learners:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Learners wear the official school uniform with black shoes.
Tuesday and Thursday: Learners wear sportswear with sports shoes for active and practical learning.

This dress code ensures learners are appropriately dressed for both academic and physical activities throughout the week.

Half-term break and Holidays.

At Palm School, we ensure a well-balanced academic calendar with designated half-term breaks and school holidays to give our learners time to rest and recharge.

Half-Term Breaks: Midway through each term, we have a short break to allow learners to relax before continuing their studies.
School Holidays: At the end of every term, learners enjoy a longer holiday before the next academic session begins.

Meals at Palm School

We provide three nutritious meals daily—breakfast, lunch, and an evening snack—to keep our learners energized throughout the day. In addition, we offer seasonal fruits, ensuring they enjoy fresh and healthy options based on what is available each season. Our meal plan is carefully designed to support growth, learning, and overall well-being. A detailed menu is provided upon registration.
