An Exciting Kickoff to Term 3
Third term is here, and it's shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet at PALM Nursery and Junior Academy! As our learners returned, the air was filled with energy and enthusiasm. From the joyous activities on the first day to the much-anticipated swimming sessions, the week was packed with fun, learning, and hands-on experiences.
First Day Fun!
Our learners were welcomed back to school with a bounce house that had everyone jumping for joy! The day was filled with music, games, and plenty of activities to ease everyone into the new term. The sound of laughter filled the air as our learners reconnected with friends and got into the groove of school life once again. It was truly a day to remember!
Swimming Sessions Return!
The highlight of the week for many of our learners was the return of swimming sessions—a much-loved part of the PALM Nursery and Junior Academy experience. Each class has a designated day to enjoy this exciting activity:
Wednesday: PALM Junior Academy (PJA) and Middle class. PJA will be heading to Grand Praclos for their swimming sessions.
Thursday: Top Class and Playgroup will enjoy their time in the pool.
Friday: Our Baby Class learners will round off the week with their swimming session.
We kindly remind all parents to pack swimming essentials for their children, including a towel, swimming costume, and any necessary personal items. It’s important to note that swimming will only take place on favorable weather days, ensuring the safety and comfort of our learners.
A Lesson in Sustainability: Harvesting the Greens
Another proud moment for PALM Junior Academy (PJA) this week was the harvest of the greens that our learners transplanted during Term 2 as part of their science practical lesson. After weeks of nurturing and learning about plant growth, the learners got to reap the rewards of their hard work. They harvested fresh, healthy greens, which were incorporated into a nutritious meal. It was a wonderful way for the learners to see firsthand the fruits (or rather, seeds!) of their labor while learning about sustainable farming and healthy eating.
Looking Forward to a Term Full of Learning and Fun!
The first week of Term 3 was full of excitement and joy, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the term has in store. From swimming to practical science lessons, there are plenty of opportunities for our learners to engage, grow, and have fun. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education, and here’s to a fantastic and enriching term ahead!
